Two civilians were killed on Tuesday when a landmine exploded in the countryside of ALraqa as they were trying to flee the city and escape the risk of clashes and heavy shelling.
The tragic situation of civilians in the province of Raqqa, from shelling and siege, forced them to try leaving the city which made them vulnerable to mines or drowning in the Euphrates river.
Obviously, It is not the first incident of its kind, almost every day people are killed and wounded by the explosion of mines planted by ISIS in order to fortify itself and targets the Kurdish units fighting against it.
