Thousands of Syrians attended today the funeral of the famous Syrian opposition photojournalist Khaled Issa in the town of Kafrenbel in Idlib southern countryside, Orient News correspondent said.
Khaled’s photos were carried through the streets of his home town, as thousands of supporters called for revenge for his death and they also asked God to grant solace for his soul.
Khalid Issa, 24 year old, succumbed to his injuries Friday night in a Turkish hospital after he was shot in Aleppo in an assassination attempt on June 17 when he was with activist Hadi al-Abdullah.
Issa documented with his camera many of Assad and Russian massacres and was injured on June 14, two days before the assassination attempt, in a Russian Assad air raid in Aleppo.
