On Saturday, fierce clashes broke out between the rebel factions on the one hand and the regime’s forces backed by foreign militias on the Hawash al-Dahahra in eastern Guta, amid an attempt of the regime to take control of the area.
Al-Ghouta Media Center reported that violent clashes took place Saturday between the rebel factions and the regime forces on the Hawash Al-Dahahra front in the eastern Ghouta in Damascus countryside, accompanied by heavy shelling and artillery shelling at the points of engagement, during which the rebel factions repelled the attack and destroyed two T72 tanks.
In a related context one civilian was martyred from the town of Bayyad, as a result of the shelling on the front of the Hawash Al-Dahahra in the eastern Ghouta in the countryside of Damascus.
It is worth mentioning that the regime’s forces backed by foreign militias trying to advance on the fronts of jobar, Ein Tirma, Al-Reihan and Al-Dahahra, east of the capital Damascus. However, the rebel factions managed to repel more than one attack, causing huge losses in lives and equipment.
