Russian jets intensified their bombardment of Aleppo before announcing a 48-hour truce. Tens of internationally prohibited bombs were hurled on Aleppo hours before Russia’s announcement of the truce.
Orient correspondent Khalid Abu al-Majd reported that Endan city in Aleppo northern countryside was heavily bombarded with cluster and phosphorous bombs by both Assad and Russian jets injuring many civilians most of them were women and children; the bombs caused a great fire which destroyed parts of the city hospital and made it out of service.
Russian jets launched many air raids on different parts of northern Aleppo countryside including Kafr Hamra city reported Sham network and added that the western Aleppo countryside was also targeted by Russian jets with cluster bombs.
