The suffering of refugees in the Lebanese camps is not only about coldness and snow of winter, and hot weather of summer; but way more that regarding violations against them as the Lebanese army raids the camps of Syrian refugees in different areas.
It seems that they forget the generosity and tendency of the Syrian people for other peoples, where history has recorded the Syrians’ empathy with Arabs in the nearby countries during wars. Syrians have had many heroic positions to who headed the Syrian land seeking safety.
Regarding the last violations against the Syrian refugees after fleeing Assad oppression, the Lebanese army raided the camps of Syrians in Ersal on the pretext of fighting terrorism, where the operation left deaths in addition to hundred arrested who were tortured in a humiliating way considering the Syrian refugees terrorists.
The National Coalition of Revolution and Syrian Opposition in a statement demanded for urgent investigation about the crimes committed against the Syrian refugees calling for punishing perpetrators and allowing lawyers to continue their duties and communicate with the arrested to investigate the circumstances of arrestment. Besides, The National Coalition of Revolution and Syrian Opposition emphasized on the necessity to deliver the rest bodies without any preconditions.
These are not the only violations; for Syrian activists launched on social media a campaign with a hashtag “#Get_us_out_from_Lebanon” in response for the abuses committed by the Lebanese army against Syrian refugees estimated to more than 1 million refugees.
Lebanese media is keen on giving the negative image of refugees in camps that have taken away their dignity, and blaming them for everything in Lebanon. Hezbollah fighters inhabit their houses, from which they were kicked off.
