Brutal clashes have erupted between regime forces and rebels in fronts in the suburbs of the capital from Jobar side, concurrently with similar clashes in eastern Ghotah in an attempt by regime forces to distract rebels and advance.
Activists said regime forces backed by Iranian militias at dawn on Wednesday attempted to advance to rebels’ locations in the outskirts of Jobar and Ain Tarma town using middle and heavy weapons including artillery and GGMs of Jobar neighborhood and Ain Tarma town, concurrently with raids on Jobar neighborhood, Ain Tarma town and Zamalka city.
