“The white hands are still playing their humanitarian and social role in all aspects of our life our country, which act through charities, orphanages , kitchens serving food for displaced, charitable hospitals for the poor. These facilities works according to specific methods depending on voluntary efforts.”
This was the opening speech with which Alwatan pro-regime newspaper started its fraught report with love, humanity and tolerance about an orphanage in Damascus city. The report talked about establishing Sayidur-Korayish orphanage and its cultural and deep-rooted accomplishments for breeding more than 200 orphans where they live with supervisors as one family in an atmosphere of familial tendency and love. This orphanage takes care of children since the seventh grade till they finish where priority is those who lost both his mother and father.
According to Syrian Network For Human Rights report , eighty-two thousand family lost their breadwinners while 2300 families lost their mothers. This brings expectations of large number of orphans in Syria where these numbers increased day after day with escalating the bombardment and clashes in different Syrian territories that are under control of all fighting parties.
They are children with no fault to be deprived of their mothers’ tendency or their fathers’ care whether they are living in regime held territories or liberated ones. Those white hands that offer love and compensate the absence of the father or the mother children. In the report, the newspaper distinguish this orphanage from other ones; if regime officials or supporters saw that most of the victims of massacres committed by regime were children whether dying or becoming orphans, they would not praise the humanity that they do not have any idea of.
They are talking about humanity and innocent feelings for those children at the time they ignore what their regime which they support praising its soldiers’ deeds is committing; as if they do not know that its military fighters have not violated the secrecy of Ramadan where these military fighters targeted most the liberated territories including Idlib city where the only orphanage in Idlib city was targeted by their missiles; then what humanity they claim and praise.
The happiness of these orphans was not complete who did not see but oppress and depravation. Once they find a home to live in familial atmosphere that regime deprived them from it where they woke up on a terrifying reality living a nightmare that had ruined their dream.
The raid targeted the building near the only orphanage in Idlib where almost forty child live there under “Rohanaa Baynahom” charity. Those children exit the building carefully by supervisors without recording any injuries.
Despite that they were not directlt injured but the psychological damage was more severe . What can they feel after waking up five in the morning to find that ruins are every where ? Are not you done claiming and telling lies ? You should write an article about the black hands seeking destroying everything.. Your children desreve to live in diginty while our children not but misery?
