We heard a lot through conferences and speeches of regime officials about “reconstructing Syria again after wiping out terrorism by killing all the armed who seek ruining and destroying its understructures besides its service facilities aiming to destabilize its peace and living”; however, the concept of reconstructing seems in reality to be totally different from what have in mind about this idea for we believe it is a kind of compensating those who lost in this war by rebuilding new residencies of civilian whose house were ruined by offensive; they are far from this concept as sky and earth.
Sana Syrian news agency broadcasted that the institution of artistic services in Daraa assigned a sum of money estimated to 857.480 million Syrian pound to apply a project of finishing the building of province in cooperation with the military Housing facility and the public company of Studies and Artistic Consultancy; this signifies reconstruction is based only on government institutions.
Back to the estimated encharge of the project to finish that building, we find that it is imaginable where probably that big number is related to officials choosing luxurious fixture suits their positions, and may be it is less than quarter the amount but it doubled four times for the rest settle in their accounts. The perplexing question “where is the ‘reconstructing’ here and is it a condition to spend imaginary amount of money for a building of three floors only?!
At the time one of the pro regime websites published in irony commenting on this news: “May be it a preliminary phase for reconstruction.. may be government has decided to assigned the building for thousand homeless.. we should not forget the real value of the sum of money after the retreat of Syrian pound exchange”.
Rouaa commented on the news: ” has war come to an end so that reconstruction can begin? What is our revered government’s opinion to find food and medicine for its people.. and then later consider reconstruction”, Hanaa Saleh added: ” I t better for them to find clothes for naked bodies with one dress than finishing those walls which may fall apart at any moment due to bombardment..”
Hanady who is a nurse in Idlib health institution, said:” It has been nine months waiting for thte ministry to give us our salaries after it forbidden cashing them under a security pretext and that government is unable to afford all the salaries where we have to move to city held by regime to prove loyalty to it after our city become out of regime control. It is not strange that budget can cover finishing a not necessary building rather than salaries employees.
If regime is unaware of the real meaning of reconstructing Syria, this can be in halting the brutal bombardment with varied weapons and arms, and the siege on civilians. How can for a saboteur rebuild at the time he is the biggest reason for destruction and displacing civilian taking away all their rights?!
