All over the Syrian provinces and since 2013, civilians were an easy target for operations of shelling with chemical weapons by Assad regime of locations held by opposition particularly in Idlib, Hama and Damascus Countryside, where the attacks with toxic materials reached scores times; the first one was in Khan Alassal in Aleppo as Sarin gas lead to 20 martyrs, while the most brutal one took place in August,21 with a death toll of 1500 civilian martyrs most of them children and women.
Regarding Khan Sheikhoun, scores were killed due to suffocations while they were sleeping without blood or carnages as residential districts were bombed with 4 missiles loaded with toxic gases where more than 30 children and women died immediately while dozens were transported to hospitals on Turkey at the time others passed away before arriving hospitals.
That terrifying and painful scene pushed many citizens of the city to displacement in an exodus fearing being targeted again with internationally forbidden weapons as regime is making advantage of the international silence that is closer to Complicity.
As humanity was violated two days ago and fell in illusions of claiming to protect humans and life, reactions of opposition sides appeared in a way of unifying positions and words before the world.
“Ryad Hijab” spoke on the massacre day and called all the military and political forces to have an urgent meeting to decide the future of the political process.
Here the question arises, will this meeting has pressure on the international community?
It can be a real pressure to halt killing and massacres committed by a regime which has sentenced its people to death on a day basis. May be it can be a pressure by opposition on UN and international guaranteeing this massacre will not happen again.
So many time international organizations authenticated and investigated earlier cases in which regime used that forbidden kind of weapons. But the striking development is that today Russia is the broker of cease fire in Syria and the one giving Assad regime the green light.
What has happened in Khan Sheikhoun reveals the real intentions of regime and its ally in killing innocent armless children and women rebutting their claims of fighting terrorists.
Will be there sanctioning after investigation and condemnation?
