The Political Body in Idlib Condemns Regime Bombardment against Buffer Zone

The Political Body in Idlib issued on Saturday a statement condemning the shelling against buffer zone southeast of Idlib by regime forces and calling on Turkey who brokered the agreement to assume its responsibilities.

The Political Body in its statement said that since de-escalation came into effect regime forces and its allies had worked to undermine the agreement through pounding the buffer zone in the countryside of Idlib and Hama. It called on the Turkish Government to assume responsibilities for being a side brokered the cease fire in buffer zone.

Violations and bombing have recently increased inflicting over 50 martyrs in the countryside southeast of Idlib, north and west of Hama. Most casualties were from Jarjanaz and Maret al-Numan southeast of Idlib.
