Tension Between Russians and Syrian Democratic Forces as Commander Flees to Regime Areas

A meeting between commanders in Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and Russians Officers was held on Monday in the rural of Deir Ezzor to discuss the incident in which a commander in the former fled into regime-held areas.

Deir Ezzor 24, an activists collective, mentioned on Monday that Syrian Democratic Forces and Russian officers met near al-Salihiyya crossing after a commander in SDF carrying several flash memories containing important information, fled into territories seized by regime forces.

No agreement was reached in the meeting after Syrian Democratic Forces insisted on delivering the commander with the flash memories, the thing Russians refused.
