Ruined Mud Houses and Power Cut in Kobani Over Heavy Rains
Mud houses have been ruined and tents of refugees have washed away in Kobani northeast of Aleppo since Wednesday as a rain storm hits the area.
Kobani Facebook page reported on Thursday that over 20 old mud houses sheltering hundreds families in Iljaq village were destroyed due to the heavy rainfalls in northern Syria.
Besides, several tents in the area washed away and a bridge south of Kobani collapsed. Most of the roads leading to Kobani district are cut because of the heavy rains which also led to electricity cuts.
