Regime Forces Arrest 2 Thousand Military Defectors in Daraa
The Office of Documenting Martyrs in Daraa revealed on Friday that regime forces arrested hundreds of military defectors last month.
About 2 thousand military defectors including officers, were arrested in Daraa governorate in raids and waves of arrests conducted by regime forces last January, according to the source.
Adding that similar arrests were carried out against 43 civilians, two of them were released, in the same month. Former commanders in opposition factions who reconciled with regime were also detained.
