Military Casualties of Syrian Democratic Forces in ISIS Ambush North of Deir Ezzor

Scores troops of Syrian Democratic Forces were killed or otherwise injured on Wednesday in an ambush set by ISIS near al-Sour town in the countryside northern Deir Ezzor province.

Deir Ezzor 24, an activists collective mentioned on Wednesday that dozens fighters of Syrian Democratic Forces were killed or otherwise injured as ISIS set an ambush blowing up land mines in a troop carrier in al-Sour town in the rural east of Deir Ezzor. Then ISIS fighters launched an assault on the carrier.

Meanwhile, International Coalition warplanes conducted air raids on the town of al-Sha’afa east of Deir Ezzor city.
