Casualties in Clashes between Syrian Democratic Forces and IS East of Deir Ezzor

Confrontations broke out between Syrian Democratic Forces and IS fighters on the outskirts of Hajin city eastern Deir Ezzor governorate leaving military casualties of both parties.

Euphrates Post, an activists collective, mentioned on Monday that clashes erupted between Syrian Democratic Forces and IS fighters on the outskirts of Hajin city east of Deir Ezzor, as the former conducted an assault to press advantage in the city, killing and injuring fighters in both parties.

Meanwhile, IS militants launched an attack on locations seized by Syrian Democratic Forces in the Badia of al-Baqa’an and al-Sha’afa north of Bu Kamal, with no reports of the toll.
