Syrian Democratic Forces Control 2 Towns Eastern Deir Ezzor

Syrian Democratic Forces backed by International Coalition, managed on Monday to seize control over the towns of al-Susa and Mozan after brutal battles in the rural east of Deir Ezzor.

Deir Ezzor 24, an activists collective mentioned on Monday that Syrian Democratic Forces backed by US-led Coalition forces controlled the towns of al-Susa and Mozan eastern Deir Ezzor province following fierce confrontations with ISIS.

Syrian Democratic Forces shelled al-Marashida ISIS-held town eastern the province using heavy artillery, in a timeframe coinciding Coalition air strikes on al-Baghooz town.
