Syrian Democratic Forces Control 2 Towns Eastern Deir Ezzor

Syrian Democratic Forces backed by International Coalition control the towns of Abo Hasan and Abo Khatir following several-day battles with ISIS in the countryside eastern Deir Ezzor.

Deir Ezzor 24, an activists collective, mentioned on Saturday that Syrian Democratic Forces managed to control the towns of Abo Hasan and Abo Khatir after brutal battles against ISIS fighters, following 2 weeks of controlling Hajin city.

After seizing these towns, ISIS fighters hole up in al-Sha’afa town and some nearby farms on the left bank of Euphrates river eastern Deir Ezzor.
