Clashes Between IS, Syrian Democratic Forces East of Deir Ezzor, Civilians Flee Bombardment

Confrontations between IS and Syrian Democratic Forces are grinding on in Hajin city in the rural eastern Deir Ezzor governorate, in a timeframe coinciding fleeing of civilians IS-held areas.

Deir Ezzor 24, an activists collective, mentioned on Tuesday that clashes between IS and Syrian Democratic Forces erupted last night and early on Tuesday morning in Hawama district in Hajin city.

Scores civilians managed to leave IS-held areas and headed territories seized by Syrian Democratic Forces to be transported to al-Omar petrol field.
