War and the loose in security have played a part in spreading in all Syria chaos and several negative aspects which increased year after year since the crisis so that selling and popularization drugs is the most dangerous phenomenon to the Syrian community as a whole for the side effects and complications of that issue.
Alwatan pro regime newspaper published that the manager of felony department of Cassation court “Ahmad Albakry” had declared the number of drugs subserved increased and he confirmed that drugs were entered from battles areas due to absence of law there which makes shirking available, where a big amount of cannabis was seized in Damascus. He added that the subserved were making use of the circumstances the country was going through that authorities being busy with current circumstances, to popularize for their poisonous stuff, clarifying that there were attempts to make it largely common in the Syrian community.
It is noticed that the officials of regime blame the citizens in opposition areas for all the negative phenomenon in regime-held ones. But to talk reasonably, justifications and blaming that areas for chaos and shirking high rate under unreasonable pretexts are not real at all. However, the question arouses here is how did these amounts of drugs enter the capital Damascus?
It is a difficult question officials may not be able to answer, besides it is widely known to everybody that all regime checkpoints in its areas and on the roads leading to the other provinces are carefully inspecting all the cars and trucks coming to that areas, then how could those stuff enter with all these checkpoints? It is obvious the soldiers in theses checkpoints on the roads are being paid money to make it easy to cross without inspection.
What is strange in this matter is corruption cases aggravated so much as regime officials admit where 10 K.G of cannabis were seized last month and 15 thousand pills of captagon. Albakry told the newspaper that he did not exclude that some armed men had planted drugs in their territories particularly cannabis to find good sources of money specially after some countries had decreased support to those people.
As if Albakry had gone far away with his Imagination from the basic matter which is the spread of drugs and popularizing them. It is worthy to mention that the people in liberated areas particularly speaking the northern in Syria are rarely able to plant basic foodstuff for costing much in producing it and counting on fuel in watering, how can they pant cannabis?
We are not here to accuse or absolving a part rather than another, or the corruption becomes everywhere in regime areas including bank robbing, misappropriating the people’s money; but the effects of drugs spread being available among civilian in the public with big amounts put us before big disaster its results can be fatal to the Syrian community in case regime continue following the policy of bilking and blaming others without finding solution putting an end to this conflict.
