director of Bab al-Hawi crossing, Sajid al-Homsi, said in a news conference on Saturday that Bab al-Hawa crossing is under a civilian administration that is independent from any military faction in the region. he added that the protection is by civilian police without intervention of any military faction.
“Al-Homsi added: this crossing border is the lifeblood of millions of people, who enter through it, and whom receive food and medicine and basic needs that are essential for the livelihood of our people inside.”
As for the closing of the crossing border from the Turkish side to the commercial movement, “Homsi” said: “We have not received any notification from the Turkish side regarding the imposition of restrictions on the crossing trade and food goods are still entering so far.”
he ended his speech by inviting activists, journalists and legal and human rights to visit the province of Idlib and confirm that the responsibility for their protection lies on the Free Police.
