“A Groom.. My Son Is a Groom in Heaven”… At Mosques Doors Syrian Mothers Lament Their Sons

Five years of bloody war have killed souls and have caused oppress and suffering. The Syrian women are still affected by this war incidents ruining her life; away from death, arresting and killing, mothers have gone through the experience of losing that pieces of theirs souls; sons.
Regime and Russian allies have launched a brutal unprecedented attack on Idlib crowded city with civilians on 21th in July. In this attack dozens martyrs and hundreds wounded have been the toll; almost every district in the city has been targeted where panic and fear were the only feeling Idlib citizens could sense. Houses were destroyed completely, shops got burned while mosques were ruined.
Painful scenes of the massacre in Idlib province due to the raids in its residential neighborhoods took place in which its citizens and mosques were targeted so that all the people in the mosque got martyred, besides children who were buried in the rubble with their blood on the stones of their homes. People who tried to escape death in their houses to face it in the streets. Raids has not stopped and barbaric offensive does not distinguish between a child or a man; between a house or a mosque.
In the hospital before the door of the intensive care, Om-Mohammed stood like the rest women who ran to the hospital to check on their sons for being in the raid locations. She was shocked with her son’s death who had gone to pray in the mosque, he was known for keeping to pray in the mosque near his house, to go home as a martyr.
“I have told him not to go outside the house for praying.. I had begged him to pray in the house cause warplanes are targeting the city (Idlib).. but he replied that only what Allah wants will happen. He went out taking my heart with him”, that is what Om-Mohammed said while crying in grieve for her son’s death.
It was departure time, she held her son’s hand tightly and saying: “please … Please do not take him away from me, leave him by me I did not had enough from my precious.. a groom .. he is a groom.. my dear son”, these are the words she cried as if her voice has reached heaven.
The carnage was here and there where children screams and sighing of mothers became without any point. While Om-Mohammed was crying on her son, a little beyond two-years child was wounded with five injuries after which he return to life with a wide smile despite pain and fear as if he sending with his innocent smile a message to the whole world although he can not utter words at the time everybody was looking at him “Do not worry, Allah is with us”.
“A groom .. he is a groom in heaven .. please take photos of him I want to see him .. you have broken my heart my precious one”, she screamed at the people around her” look at him, is not he is a groom… please dear take me with you I can not bear departure” she said at the time she was kissing his forehead with hundreds kisses and weeping which made everybody there cry.
This is how a mother lamented her son who was killed by oppressors in Allah mosques which many of them were targeted in the attack on Idlib city that is being burned with every sense of the world; Idlib you have Allah to protect you.. May Allah protect your citizens. Om-Mohammed is one of thousands similar cases of mothers in Syria.
