لجات عائلات الكنديين المحتجزين في شمال شرق سوريا لإجراءات قانونية ضد الحكومة الكندية، لرفض السلطات إعادة المحتجزين ما ينتهك الشرعة الكندية للحقوق والحريات، وأجبر كندا على الموافقة على إعادة ست نساء و13 طفلاً وعدد من الرجال من شرق سوريا.
ونشرت وكالة فرانس france24 اليوم أنّ المحكمة الفدرالية الكندية أمرت أمس الجمعة الحكومة بإعادة أربعة مواطنين كنديين محتجزين منذ سنوات في شمال شرق سوريا.
وأضافت الوكالة أنّ وزارة الخارجية الكندية قالت أنها “وافقت أخيرًا على قرار يتعلق بإعادة السيدات الستة والأطفال الثلاثة عشر بسبب الظروف المعيشية في المخيم.
ولم تحدد السلطات موعد إعادة النساء والأطفال المعنيين، ولم تقدم أي إشارة إلى الإجراءات القانونية المحتملة التي يمكن أن تتخذها ضد النساء عند عودتهن إلى الأراضي الكندية وفق الوكالة.
وكان القضاء الإسباني قد أمر بوضع امرأتين في الحبس الاحتياطي، بعدما أعيدتا إلى البلاد من شمال شرق سوريا، حيث كانتا محتجزتين في مخيمات لعائلات مسلحي “داعش”، حيث يشتبه بارتكاب “جنحة الانتماء إلى منظمة إرهابية”، بحسب وثيقة قضائية أُرسلت لصحافيين بعد مثول المرأتين أمام المحكمة.
ووفق المصدر أعيدت المرأتان إلى إسبانيا في الثاني عشر من الشهر الجاري مع 13 طفلًا تكفلت بهم خدمات الرعاية الاجتماعية.
