Documentation Office in Syrian Press Center (SPC), has managed to document in last October 921 martyrs authenticated with names including fighters and civilians, where most of them passed away in the wake of brutal bombardment by regime forces, the Russian air force and US-led Coalition fighting jets which are launching a campaign on the provinces of Raqqa and Deir Azzor, where the highest death toll occurred in these provinces. The martyrs are as follows:
*- The martyrs authenticated with names, are classified into the following:
– 236 children.
– 129 women.
– 2 medics.
– 2 media activists.
– 552 persons including civilians and fighters.
*- After ascertaining from several sources, Documentation Office has managed to document the killings by the main operating parties in the war in Syria, particularly regime forces, the Russian air force and US-led Coalition, the killings are as follows:
– Regime forces and pro-regime militias fighting on its side, killed 223 persons in the wake of artillery shelling, airstrikes and other killings.
– The Russian air force claimed the souls of 227 persons through launching intense airstrikes on most the Syrian provinces, particularly on the province of Idlib and Hama rural.
– The fighting jets of US-led Coalition, which is launching a campaign against ISIS, killed 269 persons through intense raids, particularly on the governorates of Raqqa and Deir Ezzor.
– ISIS killed 77 persons through launching artillery offensive, landmines and another killings.
– 13 persons were killed during battles and artillery shelling by the Kurdish units of ISIS-held cities and areas.
– 4 were shot dead by the Turkish borders guards “Gendarmes” on Syria-Turkey borders.
– 16 persons passed away out of torture in regime prisons.
– 13 persond died out of shortage in medicine and foodstuff, or sinking while fleeing battles and non-stop bombardment.
– In addition, 79 fighters passed away in battles with regime forces or ISIS, assassinations, landmines, battles or another killings by unknown perpetrators.
*- The martyrs authenticated with names according to governorate:
– 355 martyrs in Deir Ezzor province.
– 205 martyrs in Raqqa province
– 105 martyrs in Damascus and its countryside.
– 81 martyrs from Homs province.
– 51 martyrs in Dara’ province.
– 42 martyrs in Idlib province.
– 37 martyrs in Aleppo province.
– 35 martyrs in Hama province.
– 9 martyrs in Hasaka province.
– 1 martyr in Quneitra province.
*- It is worthy to mention that the martyrs in last September reached 1097 persons authenticated with names, where the death toll of the month included 232 children and 195 women, while the martyrs in the province of Idlib within the last campaign on it, are numbered 219 persons, most of them passed away in the wake of airstrikes by the Russian air force, according to a statistic by Documentation Office in Syrian Press Center.
