Documentation Office in Syrian Press Center (SPC), has managed to document in October till the moment of editing the report 506 martyrs authenticated with names including fighters and civilians, where most of them passed away in the wake of brutal bombardment by regime forces, the Russian air force and US-led Coalition fighting jets in the provinces of Raqqa and Deir Azzor. Documentation Office did not manage to get the names of most martyrs who passed away in Raqqa governorate due to non-stop bombardment and dire conditions there. The martyrs are as follows:
*- The martyrs authenticated with names, are classified into the following:
– 165 children.
– 75 women.
– 1 medic.
– 265 persons including civilians and fighters.
*- After ascertaining from several sources, Documentation Office has managed to document the killings by the main operating parties in the war in Syria, the killings are as follows:
– The Russian air force claimed the souls of 136 persons through launching intense airstrikes on most the Syrian provinces, particularly on the province of Deir Ezzor.
– Regime forces and pro-regime militias fighting on its side, killed 78 persons in the wake of artillery shelling, airstrikes and other killings.
– The fighting jets of US-led Coalition, which is launching a campaign against ISIS, killed 207 persons through intense raids, particularly on the governorates of Raqqa and Deir Ezzor.
– ISIS killed 39 persons through launching artillery offensive, landmines and another killings.
– 1 person was killed in artillery shelling by the Kurdish units
– 7 persons passed away out of torture in regime prisons.
– 1 person died out of shortage in medicine and foodstuff.
– In addition, 37 fighters passed away in battles with regime forces, assassinations, landmines and another killings by unknown perpetrators.
*- The martyrs authenticated with names according to governorate:
– 190 martyrs in Deir Ezzor province.
– 137 martyrs in Raqqa province.
– 53 martyrs from Homs province, killed in Raqqa.
– 37 martyrs in Damascus and its countryside.
– 26 martyrs in Aleppo province.
– 24 martyrs in Idlib province.
– 22 martyrs in Hama province.
– 9 martyrs in Dara’ province.
– 7 martyrs in Hasaka province.
– 1 martyr in Lattakia province.
*- It is worthy to mention that the martyrs in last September reached 1097 persons authenticated with names, where the death toll of the month included 232 children and 195 women, while the martyrs in the province of Idlib within the last campaign on it, are numbered 219 persons, most of them passed away in the wake of airstrikes by the Russian air force, according to a statistic by Documentation Office in Syrian Press Center.
