In the past few hours, the regime and the Iraqi militia have losed dead due to clashes between the rebels and the regime forces in the vicinity of Halfaya, in the northern suburbs of Hama, as the regime attempted to advance from the axis of Sahar, supported by many tanks and military vehicles.
During these violent clashes with regime, the rebels control of the area of Sun Sahar south of the city of Halfaya, which is a strategic area overlooking the neighboring area of Alzwar, which is the supply line of the rebels towards Nasarah and the vicinity of the town of Khattab north of the city of Hama,.
The clashes are currently concentrated at the al-Bateesh checkpoint from the south and the axis of the town of Mahreda from the western side of Halfaya, in attempts that have been ongoing since the beginning of this month. In this context, the pro-regime pages reported that the city of Mahrada was exposed to rocket and bombs which resulted to injuries and other material damage, accusing the rebels of targeting them.
This comes after the rebels targeted mortars to the positions of the regime forces which are existent between the residential neighborhoods in the city of Mahreda, which killed two Russian soldiers this month, confirmed by the Russian Defense Ministry without specifying the location of the attack and the date of occurrence.
