ووفق ما نقلته وكالة الطاقة عبر صفحتها الرسمية على “فيسبوك”، استعرض الجانبان الفرص المتاحة في الصناعة النفطية السورية، بما في ذلك تطوير الحقول ورفع القدرة الإنتاجية، إلى جانب مناقشة مشاريع تهدف إلى تحديث البنية التحتية وزيادة كفاءة التشغيل
كما تطرّق الاجتماع إلى توسيع مجالات الشراكة مع الجانب الإماراتي بما يدعم جهود الوزارة في إعادة تأهيل القطاع النفطي وتعزيز موارده، حيث أكد الوزير البشير خلال اللقاء حرص الوزارة على استقطاب استثمارات نوعية وتوفير بيئة جاذبة للشركات الراغبة في العمل داخل سوريا خلال المرحلة المقبلة
ويأتي هذا اللقاء في سياق تحرّك حكومي أوسع لفتح الباب أمام الاستثمارات الإقليمية في قطاع الطاقة، إذ سبق أن وقّعت الحكومة السورية الانتقالية مطلع تشرين الأول/أكتوبر الماضي مذكرتي تفاهم مع شركتي “الحرفي” و”سكلكو” السعوديتين لتنفيذ مشاريع للطاقة الكهروضوئية والريحية بقدرة إجمالية تصل إلى 500 ميغاواط
كما أبرمت المؤسسة العامة لنقل وتوزيع الكهرباء مذكرة تفاهم إضافية مع شركة “إس تي إي” السورية – التركية لشراء نحو 100 ميغاواط من الطاقة الشمسية، في إطار تعزيز مصادر الطاقة المتجددة وتخفيف الضغط عن الشبكة الكهربائية
