قالت منظمة هيومن رايتس ووتش اليوم إن السوريين يعيشون في خوف دائم حيث أنّ الجيش اللبناني اعتقل تعسفيا ورحّل آلاف السوريين، بينهم أطفال غير مصحوبين بذويهم، إلى سوريا بين نيسان و أيار خلال العام الجاري 2023.
نشرت المنظمة اليوم على موقعها إفادات لعدد من السوريون المرحّلين الذين أكدوا تجاهل القوات اللبنانية للمخاوف التي تعتريهم جراء ترحيلهم إلى مناطق سيطرة النظام .
ونقلت المنظمة اليوم واقع بعض اللاجئين الذين تعرضوا في مناطق سيطرة النظام للحجز التعسفي والتعذيب والزج في قوات الاحتياط العسكرية عقب بعد ترحيلهم في الشهور الماضية.
كما طالبت المنظمة الحكومات المانحة التي تدعم الجيش اللبناني أن تحث السلطات اللبنانية على وقف ترحيل اللاجئين السوريين والتحري حول مصدر صرف الأموال المقدمة حتى لا يتم انتهاك حقوق الإنسان بموجبها.
ووثق عدد من الناشطين منهم المحامي والدكتور طارق شندب تعرض العديد من اللاجئين السوريين في لبنان لترحيل في الفترة الماضية وتسلميهم للنظام السوري مباشرة ومنهم منشقون عن الخدمة الإلزامية ما يجعل حياتهم في خطر.
