ذكر موقع FRANCE 24 أمس الأربعاء 24 نيسان (أبريل) نقلًا عن وكالة الصحافة الفرنسية أن الأرجنتين تسعى إلى اعتقال وزير إيراني فيما يتعلق بتفجير المركز اليهودي عام 1994 حيث طلبت الأرجنتين من الإنتربول اعتقال وزير الداخلية الإيراني أحمد وحيدي على خلفية تفجير مركز للجالية اليهودية في بوينس آيرس عام 1994 أدى إلى مقتل 85 شخصا، بحسب ما أعلنت وزارة الخارجية الثلاثاء.
وقالت وزارة الخارجية الأرجنتينية إن الوزير الإيراني أحمد وحيدي كان ضمن وفد من طهران يزور باكستان وسريلانكا، وأصدر الإنتربول نشرة حمراء تطلب اعتقاله بناء على طلب الأرجنتين. وأضافت في بيان أن الأرجنتين طلبت أيضًا من هاتين الحكومتين اعتقال وحيدي، لكن وكالة الأنباء الإيرانية الرسمية (إيرنا) ذكرت أن وحيدي عاد إلى إيران يوم الثلاثاء، حيث حضر حفل تنصيب حاكم إقليمي.
وقال مسؤول في وزارة الخارجية السريلانكية لوكالة فرانس برس إن وحيدي لم يكن ضمن الوفد الإيراني الذي وصل إلى البلاد الأربعاء. في 12 نيسان (أبريل) ألقت محكمة في الأرجنتين اللوم على إيران في هجوم عام 1994 ضد مركز الجالية اليهودية AMIA في بوينس آيرس، وفي تفجير وقع قبل ذلك بعامين ضد السفارة الإسرائيلية، مما أسفر عن مقتل 29 شخصًا.
وجاء في بيان وزارة الخارجية يوم الثلاثاء: “تسعى الأرجنتين إلى الاعتقال الدولي للمسؤولين عن هجوم AMIA عام 1994، الذي أسفر عن مقتل 85 شخصًا، والذين ما زالوا في مناصبهم مع الإفلات التام من العقاب”. وجاء في البيان الذي وقعته وزارة الأمن الأرجنتينية “أحدهم هو أحمد وحيدي المطلوب من قبل العدالة الأرجنتينية باعتباره أحد المسؤولين عن الهجوم على AMIA”.
ذكرت الأرجنتين سابقًا أن وحيدي، وهو عضو كبير سابق في الحرس الثوري الإيراني، هو أحد العقول المدبرة الرئيسية لتفجير AMIA وطلبت تسليمه.
