ذكر الناشط السوري الأمريكي عبد الحفيظ شرف على حسابه في منصة الفيس بوك اليوم الأحد 5 كانون الثاني (يناير) أن تحالفًا انتخابيًّا بين السوريين الأمريكيين والعرب والشرق أوسطيين مع الرئيس ترامب يحاولون بكل جهدهم وطاقتهم لرفع العقوبات عن سوريا وإيقاف العمل بقانون قيصر ولو بشكل مؤقت حتى تستطيع الدول الإقليمية ومن يريد أن يساعد في إعادة بناء سوريا أن يفعل ذلك بعيدًا عن العقوبات وأن يحصل هذا مباشرة مع البنك المركزي السوري والذي يخضع اليوم لعقوبات قيصر وقد عقدت عدة اجتماعات في الكونجرس ومع الحزب الجمهوري والفريق الانتقالي للرئيس ترمب بهذا الخصوص.
وبحسب شرف: إننا سمعنا طلبات واضحة للتعاون وهذه الطلبات موجهة للإدارة السورية الانتقالية الجديدة وهي تشمل التالي:
1- الاستمرار في محاربة تنظيم الدولة الإرهابي ومنع إعادة تشكيله بأي شكل من الأشكال وهذا خط أحمر أمريكي بالتأكيد وهذا يشمل السجون التي فيها آلاف من مقاتلي التنظيم.
2- تدمير ما تبقى من الأسلحة الكيماوية بالتعاون مع منظمة حظر الأسلحة الكيماوية الدولية وتحت إشراف الأمم المتحدة وذلك لخطرها الكبير على أمن المنطقة.
3- تشكيل حكومة تشمل جميع مكونات الشعب السوري بشرط تكون مبنية على الكفاءة وليس المحاصصة العرقية أو الدينية بحيث يساهم الجميع في بناء سوريا ومنع أي تقسيم .
4- عدم السماح لأن تكون سوريا مصدر قلق أمني لجيرانها في المنطقة.
5- إذا تحولت سوريا من التحالف الشرقي المتمثل بروسيا وإيران فسيكون مرحب بها أن تكون جزءًا من التحالف الأمريكي الغربي الخليجي وهذه فرصة كبيرة جدًّا لسوريا لتستطيع أن تخرج من حالة الفقر والضعف والعزلة السياسية إلى حالة من التطور والازدهار والسلام.
وبحسب شرف فإن النقطة الخامسة تحتاج إلى عمل كبير وعمل سياسي ضخم في الولايات المتحدة من الجالية السورية الأمريكية مع الإدارة الأمريكية ولكنها تحمل في طياتها خيرًا كبيرًا جدًّا لسوريا وشعبها المظلوم على مدار أكثر من خمسين سنة.
