في إطار جهودها لتعزيز التعاون الدولي وتطوير قطاع النقل، استقبلت وزارة النقل السورية وفدًا اقتصاديًا من النمسا وألمانيا، ضم نخبة من رجال الأعمال والمستثمرين المشاركين في الملتقى الاقتصادي السوري–النمساوي–الألماني. وقد خُصص اللقاء لبحث آفاق التعاون في مجالات النقل المستدام وتحديث البنية التحتية في سوريا.
وخلال الاجتماع، ناقش الطرفان إمكانية إطلاق مشاريع مشتركة تهدف إلى تحسين خدمات النقل وتحديث بنيته، حيث أكد مستشار وزير النقل لشؤون النقل المستدام، سنان الخير، أهمية الاستفادة من الخبرات الأوروبية، خاصة النمساوية، في مجالات النقل الجماعي والأنظمة الذكية، معتبرًا أن تبادل الخبرات يمثل خطوة محورية نحو تحقيق نقل أكثر كفاءة واستدامة.
من جانبه، أعرب الوفد الأوروبي عن اهتمام الشركات النمساوية والألمانية بالمساهمة في مشاريع النقل السورية، لا سيما في مجالات إدارة النقل الحضري، وتطوير شبكات الطرق والنقل العام، مشيرًا إلى استعداد هذه الشركات لتقديم الدعم الفني والخبرات اللازمة لتنفيذ مشاريع استراتيجية.
كما استعرض مدير النقل البري في الوزارة، علي أسبر، أبرز المشاريع التي تعمل عليها الوزارة، ومنها إنشاء طرق سريعة بنظام الرسوم على محاور شمال–جنوب وغرب–شرق، وتنفيذ طريق اللاذقية–أريحا–حلب وفق نظام BOT، ومد ممرات سكك حديدية جديدة لتعزيز الربط الإقليمي، بالإضافة إلى مشروع نقل الفوسفات من مناجم مهين إلى ميناء طرطوس عبر السكك الحديدية، وتطوير النقل السككي في دمشق بما يشمل المترو والقطارات الإقليمية، إلى جانب تسريع التحول الرقمي في قطاع النقل البري.
شارك في اللقاء من الجانب السوري مستشارة الوزير للتحول الرقمي ريا عرفات، والمسؤول عن التعاون الدولي إياد الأسعد، ومن الجانب الأوروبي رئيس غرفة التجارة العربية الألمانية أولاف هوفمان، والرئيس العربي لغرفة التجارة العربية النمساوية ومدير عام شركة “فيمبكس” لؤي الكزبري، وأمين عام الغرفة مضر الخرجة، وعضو مجلس إدارة شركة “دورش” أكسل بوكر، ومدير عام مجموعة “فيمبكس” خالد الحمصي.
ويأتي هذا اللقاء ضمن استراتيجية وزارة النقل لتعزيز الشراكات الاستثمارية مع الدول الصديقة، ودعم جهود إعادة الإعمار من خلال تطوير البنية التحتية للنقل في سوريا.
