ذكرت وكالة رويترز نقلًا عن تاس اليوم الأربعاء 29 كانون الثاني (يناير) في وقت متأخر من يوم الثلاثاء أن روسيا وسوريا ستجريان مزيدًا من المحادثات بشأن القواعد العسكرية الروسية في سوريا، وذلك نقلًا عن نائب وزير الخارجية الروسي ميخائيل بوجدانوف بعد محادثاته مع مسؤولين سوريين.
ونقلت وكالة تاس للأنباء عن بوغدانوف قوله للصحفيين “هذه القضية تتطلب مفاوضات إضافية”. ويرأس بوغدانوف الوفد الروسي إلى دمشق للمرة الأولى منذ الإطاحة بحليف موسكو بشار الأسد.
وأضاف أنه حتى الآن لم يطرأ أي تغيير على تواجد القواعد العسكرية الروسية في البلاد.
وتأمل روسيا، التي منحت الأسد اللجوء وساعدته عسكريًّا ضد قوات المعارضة لسنوات قبل سقوطه، في الاحتفاظ بقاعدتيها في سوريا، منشأة بحرية في طرطوس وقاعدة حميميم الجوية بالقرب من مدينة اللاذقية الساحلية.
وبحسب الوكالة قالت الإدارة الذاتية الجديدة في سوريا، الأربعاء، إن الجانبين أجريا مناقشات حول آليات العدالة الانتقالية التي تهدف إلى ضمان المساءلة والعدالة لضحايا الحرب الوحشية التي شنها نظام الأسد.
وأضافت الإدارة السورية في بيان أن “سوريا أكدت أن إعادة العلاقات يجب أن تعالج الأخطاء الماضية وتحترم إرادة الشعب السوري وتخدم مصالحه”.
