قال الممثل الروسي الدائم لدى الأمم المتحدة فاسيلي نيبينزيا أمام مجلس الأمن الدولي أمس الخميس وفق ما ترجمه المركز الصحفي السوري عن صحيفة تاس بتصرف، إن إمكانات آلية المساعدة السورية عبر الحدود قد استنفدت منذ فترة طويلة ، ويتم استخدامها الآن لأهداف لا علاقة لها بالمساعدات الإنسانية.
وأضاف نيبينزيا أنّ أذونات استخدام نقطتي تفتيش إضافيتين لمدة ثلاثة أشهر ، صادرة عن دمشق ، قد قللت بحكم الأمر الواقع من حماس الأمم المتحدة لإلغاء حظر عمليات التسليم عبر خط الاتصال.
واردف نيبينزيا قائلًا: “إذا استمر زملاؤنا الغربيون في مجلس الأمن التابع للأمم المتحدة في التظاهر بعدم حدوث شيء ، واستمروا في تجاهل حقيقة أن قرارات مجلس الأمن الدولي تتعرض للتخريب من قبل “الجماعات” ، المعترف بها على أنها إرهابية على المستوى الدولي ، فسوف نستخلص استنتاجات من هذا الوضع عندما نفكر في سياق التمديد المقبل للآلية عبر الحدود ، المقرر إجراؤها في تموز/يوليو المقبل.
فيما أشار نيبينزيا إلى إمكانية رفض بلاده تمديد المساعدات إلى سوريا عبر الحدود بقوله: “لقد استنفدت المساعدات إمكاناتها منذ فترة طويلة وتخدم حاليًا أهدافًا مختلفة ، بعيدة كل البعد عن المساعدات الإنسانية”، حسب وصفه.
الجدير بالذكر أنّ وقف تمديد المساعدات الإنسانية إلى سوريا عبر الحدود قد يهدد أكثر من 4 ملايين من الأهالي والنازحين في الشمال السوري.
