ذكرت صحيفة “السوري اليوم” الأسبوع الماضي، تشهد تركيا انخفاضًا كبيرًا في عدد اللاجئين السوريين المقيمين فيها، وفقًا لإحصائيات رسمية وتوقعات من خبراء.
“مراد أردوغان” مدير مركز دراسات الهجرة في جامعة أنقرة، يتوقع أن ينخفض عدد اللاجئين السوريين في تركيا بشكل مفاجئ إلى 2.4 مليون، بعد أن انخفض العدد سابقًا بمقدار 200 ألف شخص في ليلة واحدة بسبب تحويل قيودهم النشطة إلى غير نشطة. ويرجع هذا التغيير إلى عدم تحديث اللاجئين لبياناتهم بشكل مستمر.
وأشار أردوغان إلى أن هذا الانخفاض قد يثير تساؤلات حول دقة الأرقام التي تقدمها الحكومة التركية بشأن عدد السوريين في البلاد. كما لفت إلى أن توزيع السوريين غير متوازن بين المدن التركية، وأن الإجراءات الحكومية، مثل إغلاق 1169 حيًّا أمام إقامة السوريين، لم تكن كافية لتقليل الكثافة السكانية للسوريين في تلك المناطق.
وكان وزير الداخلية قد كشف عن أن 729 ألف لاجئ سوري من أصل 3.1 مليون سوري مقيمين في تركيا لم يُعثر عليهم في عناوين إقامتهم المسجلة. وأوضح أن الحكومة أرسلت تحذيرات باللغات التركية والإنجليزية والعربية لهؤلاء الأشخاص لتحديث عناوينهم، ومنحتهم مهلة تصل إلى 90 يومًا، تلاها شهرين إضافيين لتحديث بياناتهم.
