ذكرت الشبكة السورية لحقوق الإنسان أمس الخميس 19 أيلول (سبتمبر) أنه في يوم الجمعة 13 أيلول (سبتمبر) 2024، نقلت وكالة الأنباء الرسمية اللبنانية، التابعة لوزارة الإعلام في البلاد، تصريحًا منسوبًا إلى روفيندريني مينيكديويلا، مساعد المفوض السامي لشؤون الحماية في مفوضية الأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين، والذي قالت الوكالة إنه صدر خلال اجتماع بين عبد الله بو حبيب، وزير الخارجية والمغتربين في حكومة تصريف الأعمال اللبنانية، ووفد من المفوضية برئاسة مينيكديويلا، عقد لمناقشة قضية اللاجئين السوريين في لبنان. وفي البيان، زعمت مينيكديويلا أن المفوضية لاحظت تحولًا إيجابيًّا في تعامل حكومة النظام السوري مع قضية النازحين، مضيفًا أن هناك زخمًا يمكن الاستفادة منه فيما يتعلق بقضية التعافي المبكر لسوريا، مما من شأنه أن يمهد الطريق لعودة اللاجئين. كما كشف مينيكديويلا أن المفوضية تعمل على تأمين العودة “الطوعية” لـ 30 ألف لاجئ سوري من لبنان إلى سوريا في المستقبل القريب.
وقالت الشبكة إن الادعاءات الواردة في تصريح المسؤولة الأممية تتناقض كليًّا مع الانتهاكات التي لايزال النظام السوري يرتكبها، بما في ذلك الانتهاكات الجسيمة، مثل التعذيب والإخفاء القسري، حيث لاتزال الشبكة السورية لحقوق الإنسان توثق هذه الانتهاكات بشكل منتظم وتنشرها في مقالاتها الإخبارية اليومية وتقاريرها الشهرية. كما تتناقض هذه الادعاءات مع التقارير الصادرة عن لجنة التحقيق الدولية المستقلة بشأن الجمهورية العربية السورية، بما في ذلك تقريرها الأخير في 9 أيلول (سبتمبر) ، والتقارير الصادرة عن مفوضية الأمم المتحدة السامية لحقوق الإنسان، بما في ذلك تقرير صادر في 13 شباط (فبراير) 2024 ، والذي أكد أن العديد من السوريين الذين فروا من الحرب يواجهون انتهاكات وتجاوزات خطيرة لحقوق الإنسان عند عودتهم إلى سوريا، فضلًا عن تقارير المنظمات الدولية لحقوق الإنسان مثل هيومن رايتس ووتش ومنظمة العفو الدولية.
