أعلن حاكم مصرف سوريا المركزي، عبد القادر الحصرية، أن المصرف يعمل على إنشاء مديرية متخصصة بحماية المستهلك في الخدمات المالية، تهدف إلى تعزيز العدالة والشفافية في تعامل المؤسسات المالية مع عملائها، وضمان حقوق المتعاملين في مختلف القطاعات المصرفية
أوضح الحصرية، في تصريح نقله حساب المصرف عبر قناته على تلغرام، أن هذه الخطوة تأتي استجابةً للتحديات التي يواجهها القطاع المالي في مجالات حماية المستهلك وجودة الخدمات، مؤكدًا أن المصرف المركزي يسعى من خلالها إلى ترسيخ الثقة بالمنظومة المصرفية وخلق بيئة مالية أكثر توازنًا وإنصافًا
وبيّن أن المديرية الجديدة ستتولى عدة مهام أساسية، من أبرزها :
إعداد الأطر القانونية والتنظيمية التي تضمن حماية حقوق المستهلك المالي
استقبال شكاوى العملاء ومعالجتها ضمن إجراءات شفافة وعادلة
مراقبة التزام المؤسسات المالية بمعايير السلوك المهني والإنصاف
تنفيذ برامج توعية لرفع الثقافة المالية لدى المواطنين
كما كشف الحصرية أن المصرف المركزي يعمل حاليًا على إعداد مشروع قانون خاص بحماية المستهلك المالي، ينسجم مع أفضل المعايير الدولية ويهدف إلى تعزيز الاستقرار المالي في البلاد
واعتبر الحصرية أن تأسيس هذه المديرية يمثل خطوة محورية في تطوير النظام المالي السوري، وتجسيدًا لرؤية المصرف المركزي الرامية إلى حماية المتعاملين وترسيخ الثقة بين المواطن والمؤسسات المالية
