وفي مؤتمر صحفي أعلن العقيد الدكتور “جبر حمود جبر النعيمي” المتحدث باسم وزارة الداخلية وعمليات أمن وسلامة كأس العالم عن اكتمال الجاهزية الأمنية لاستضافة المونديال.
وتابع “يسرنا أن نعلن عن السماح للمشجعين من غير حاملي التذاكر بالدخول إلى دولة قطر اعتباراً من 2 كانون الأول المقبل،
وذلك لإتاحة الفرصة أمام جمهور كرة القدم من أنحاء العالم للاستمتاع بأجواء البطولة.
وتناول المؤتمر الذي نظمته اللجنة العليا للمشاريع والإرث بالتعاون مع وزارة الصحة ولجنة عمليات أمن وسلامة بطولة
كأس العالم تجربة المشجعين والاستعدادات الأمنية وترتيبات النقل، بالإضافة لإرشادات حول خدمات الرعاية الصحية
لجمهور البطولة.
