ذكر موقع TRT World التركي تصريحات الرئيس التركي رجب طيب أردوغان بإن تركيا تواصل التواصل مع النظام السوري من أجل التطبيع، معربًا عن اعتقاده بأن هذه الخطوة يمكن أن تمهد الطريق للسلام والاستقرار على الأراضي السورية.
وبحسب المصدر أكد الرئيس التركي رجب طيب أردوغان أمله في المصالحة مع رئيس النظام السوري بشار أسد، مشيرًا إلى تفاؤله بإمكانية نجاحهما في العمل معًا لتحسين العلاقات بين سوريا وتركيا.
وقال الرئيس التركي للصحفيين بعد عودته من رحلة رسمية إلى السعودية وأذربيجان: “تواصلنا مع سوريا من أجل التطبيع، معتقدين أن هذه الخطوة ستمهد الطريق للسلام والاستقرار داخل الأراضي السورية”.
وشدد أردوغان على ضرورة الاستقرار في سوريا، وحذر من أن التهديد الإسرائيلي يشكل مصدر قلق خطير للسوريين، لأن عدم الاستقرار الإقليمي قد ينتشر بسرعة في المناطق المضطربة.
وأضاف أن تركيا ملتزمة بوحدة الأراضي السورية، مشيرًا إلى أن اللاجئين السوريين لا يشكلون أي خطر في هذا الصدد. وحث الرئيس أردوغان بشار الأسد على الاعتراف بهذا الواقع واتخاذ خطوات لخلق “مناخ جديد” في سوريا من شأنه أن يسمح بتطبيع سلمي يمكن أن يعود بالنفع على البلدين.
وبحسب TRT World تظل المخاوف الأمنية تشكل أولوية بالنسبة لتركيا، حيث أكد الرئيس أردوغان أن العمليات عبر الحدود تكون دائمًا على جدول الأعمال إذا لزم الأمر لمعالجة التهديدات بالقرب من حدود تركيا.
وأضاف المصدر نقلًا عن الرئيس التركي إن “هناك مناطق لايزال الإرهابيون يتواجدون فيها بالقرب من حدودنا”. “من المستحيل تحقيق الاستقرار الكامل دون القضاء على هذه الملاذات الإرهابية”.
