قامت وزارة الأوقاف بتحويل المبالغ التي جُمعت من حملة التبرعات عبر المساجد إلى صندوق التنمية السوري، وذلك للمساهمة في تمويل المشاريع التنموية والخدمية في مختلف أنحاء البلاد
وأفاد بيان رسمي للوزارة أن حجم التبرعات وصل إلى نحو 121 ألف دولار أمريكي و4.8 مليار ليرة سورية، مشيرًا إلى أن الإقبال الشعبي الكبير يعكس وعي المواطنين بمسؤولياتهم الوطنية ورغبتهم في المشاركة الفاعلة في إعمار وطنهم
وأكد وزير الأوقاف، محمد أبو الخير شكري، أن هذه المبادرة تجسد روح المواطنة والانتماء الوطني، وتُظهر إيمان الناس بأهمية دورهم في دعم جهود إعادة الإعمار وخدمة المجتمع
بدوره، أوضح المدير العام لصندوق التنمية السوري، صفوت رسلان، أن هذه التبرعات ستُستخدم في مشاريع إعادة الإعمار وتطوير البنى التحتية، إلى جانب دعم قطاعات التعليم والصحة، مشيدًا بروح التعاون والتكافل المجتمعي التي ظهرت من خلال الحملة
ويُعد صندوق التنمية السوري مؤسسة وطنية أُنشئت بموجب المرسوم الرئاسي رقم 112 لعام 2025، ويهدف إلى تمويل مشاريع التنمية والإعمار وتحفيز الاقتصاد الوطني، معتمدًا في ذلك على مساهمات السوريين داخل وخارج البلاد، بالإضافة إلى الهبات والتبرعات المسموح بها قانونيًا
ويتمتع الصندوق بالاستقلال المالي والإداري ويرتبط مباشرة برئاسة الجمهورية، ليكون أداة استراتيجية لتعزيز التنمية المستدامة ودعم جهود إعادة الإعمار في سوريا
