وأضاف المصدر بأن ارتفاع أسعار صهاريج المياه دفع أهالي الزينو والبلاط لمناشدة مؤسسة المياه لتمديدهم بشبكة مياه شرب.
وفي سياق متصل أكد سكان القرى المجاورة التابعة لناحية جوبة برغال (مليخ، ملوخ، عنانيب، مسيت، القرير، خربة السنديان…) بأنّه كل عشرة أيام يتمُّ ضخ المياه لمدة ساعة واحدة فقط.
فيما يعاني أهالي القرداحة من شح المياه، فإن مستودعاً في منطقة مستودعات المرفأ، يقوم باحتكار كميات كبيرة من المياه المعدنية من أجل الحصول على المنفعة المادية، وفق وزارة التجارة الداخلية وحماية المستهلك في حكومة النظام.
