شهدت مدينة الشيخ مسكين الواقعة في ريف محافظة درعا جنوبي سوريا حادثة أمنية مأساوية نتيجة خلاف بين شخصين داخل أحد المحال التجارية في المدينة، حيث تطور الخلاف إلى تبادل لإطلاق النار أدى إلى وقوع إصابات بشرية
وقد أسفرت هذه الحادثة عن وفاة الشاب “فارس أحمد شباط” متأثرًا بالجراح التي أصيب بها جراء القصف الناري، فيما نجا شاب آخر من الحادثة بإصابات نقل على إثرها إلى المستشفى للعلاج، وهو الشاب “عثمان أبو عواد”، وفقًا للمصادر الإعلامية المحلية
وردًا على هذه الحادثة الأمنية، وتحسبًا لأي تطورات قد تنشأ عنها، قامت مديرية الأمن الداخلي في منطقة إزرع بإصدار قرار عاجل بفرض حظر تجول في مدينة الشيخ مسكين، يبدأ سريانه من الساعة السابعة مساءً حتى السابعة صباحًا من اليوم التالي
وجاء في حيثيات القرار الذي نشر عبر الحسابات الرسمية للمحافظة أن هذا الإجراء الاحترازي يُهدف إلى الحفاظ على الأمن العام واستتباب النظام في المدينة، ومنع أي أعمال عنف أو انتقام محتملة في أعقاب حادثة إطلاق النار
وقد أكد بيان المحافظة أن قرار حظر التجول يأتي مباشرة كرد فعل على الحادث الأمني الذي وقع داخل المحل التجاري، مما يدل على جدية الجهات الأمنية في التعامل مع مثل هذه الأحداث
