وأشار الموقع إلى أن الحجو الذي يعيش في البناء نفسه، كان يحاول العثور على مقتنياته الثمينة تحت الركام، إلا أنه عثر على 11 سوارًا ذهبيًّا تعود لأشخاص مجهولين، وهو ما دفعه للذهاب إلى الشرطة وسلمهم المصوغات قائلًا :”لا يمكنني أخذها، هذا حرام”.
وبحسب الموقع، سبق أن أفادت وسائل الإعلام أن اللاجئين السوريين، الذين تعرضوا لهجمات عنصرية في الزلازل التي تسببت بدمار هائل في 11 ولاية تركية بذلوا جهودًا كبيرة لإنقاذ جيرانهم وأصدقائهم الأتراك من تحت الأنقاض.
