مع انطلاق فعاليات قمة المناخ في شرم الشيخ، أعلن الناشط السياسي المصري السجين “علاء عبدالفتاح”
إضراباً عن الشراب اليوم، بحسب شقيقته سناء سيف في تغريدة لها عبر تويتر.
وكان قد أعلن الناشط إضرابه عن الطعام قبل ستة أشهر، مطالباً بإطلاق سراحه، وهدد قبل أسبوع
عبر حساب أخته أيضاً، أنه سيضرب بشكل نهائي عن الطعام والشراب مع ابتداء قمة المناخ.
وذكرت سناء سيف في تغريدتها، أنها ستتوجه إلى مدينة شرم الشيخ المصرية، حيث يعقد مؤتمر المناخ “كوب 27” ،
وأكدت أنها تحمل بطاقة مرور كعضوة في المجتمع المدني، بعد أن فضت اعتصامها أمام الخارجية البريطانية في لندن.
ووعد رئيس الوزراء البريطاني “ريشي سوناك”، بإثارة قضية علاء عبد الفتاح مع القيادة المصرية حتى يتم حلها،
وذلك في خطاب لسناء ردًا على رسالة بعثت بها لمكتب رئيس الوزراء البريطاني.
علاء عبدالفتاح الذي يعد من أهم ناشطي الثورة المصرية، قضى عقوبة السجن خمس سنوات
بين 2014 و2019 لإدانته بالتظاهر قبل الإفراج عنه، لكن بعد عامين من خروجه تم حبسه بتهمة نشر أخبار كاذبة.
