كشفت شرطة التشيك، اليوم السبت، أنها اعتقلت قرابة 220 شخصاً يعملون مرشدون في مجال إدخال المهاجرين غير الشرعيين إلى البلاد، منهم 33 سورياً.
وقالت الشرطة التشيكية، بحسب صحيفة ليدوفكي التشيكية، لقد احتجزنا منذ بداية العام الجاري 2022، أكثر من 220 مرشداً كانوا يحاولون نقل اللاجئين السوريين بشكل غير قانوني إلى التشيك، مقابل حصولهم على المال.
كما أكّد السكرتير الصحفي جوزيف أوربان لشرطة التشيك، “لقد اعتقلنا 49 أوكرانيًا و33 سوريًا و 26 تشيكيًا منذ بداية العام، وهذه هي التركيبة الوطنية الرئيسية”.
وأضافت الصحيفة أن التشيك سوف تشدد العقوبات على المرشدين، وسوف تزيد من الحد الأقصى لعقوبة السجن لمثل هذا الانتهاك للقانون من خمس سنوات في السجن إلى ثماني سنوات.
كما أعلنت جمهورية التشيك تشديد الرقابة على حدودها بسبب ارتفاع نسبة اللاجئين إلى أراضيها بنسبة غير مسبوقة ومعظمهم من السوريين.
وفي تصريح سابق لوزير الداخلية، إن الهجرة غير الشرعية، ومعظمها من سوريا، ارتفعت بنسبة 1200 بالمائة خلال العام 2022، مضيفاً أن “ما نمر به هذا العام غير مسبوق، حيث اعتقلت الشرطة منذ بداية العام نحو 11 ألف مهاجر غير شرعي.
