أعلنت المؤسسة السورية للبريد، في بيان رسمي، عن توقف شامل وكامل لكافة الخدمات التي تقدمها للمواطنين عبر جميع مكاتبها والصالات التابعة لها المنتشرة في كافة المحافظات السورية، ويأتي هذا التوقف المؤقت ليوم واحد فقط، تحديدًا يوم غدٍ الخميس المصادف للثامن من الشهر الجاري
وذكر البيان أن سبب هذا التعليق المؤقت للخدمات هو القيام بأعمال تحديث تقنية كبرى على الأنظمة الإلكترونية للمؤسسة، وتتضمن هذه التحديثات عملية تحويل وتكييف هذه الأنظمة للعمل بالعملة السورية الجديدة، مما يتطلب إيقاف الخدمات مؤقتًا لضمان تنفيذ عملية التحويل بشكل آمن وصحيح ومن دون أخطاء فنية
وأضافت المؤسسة أن الخدمات البريدية ستعود للعمل بشكل طبيعي ومتكامل اعتبارًا من يوم الأحد المقبل، الموافق للحادي عشر من الشهر الجاري، وذلك بعد اكتمال جميع عمليات التحديث والاختبارات الفنية اللازمة
كما أكدت المؤسسة في بيانها على حرصها الدائم والسعي المتواصل لتطوير بنيتها التحتية التقنية وتحسين جودة الخدمات المقدمة للمواطنين، بما يضمن تقديمها وفق أعلى معايير الجودة والموثوقية والكفاءة
يذكر أن المؤسسة السورية للبريد تعمل بشكل دوري ومنتظم على تحديث وتطوير أنظمتها الإلكترونية وشبكاتها التقنية، في إطار خطة شاملة تهدف إلى مواكبة التطورات التكنولوجية العالمية، وتسعى هذه الخطط إلى رفع كفاءة الأداء وتسهيل وتبسيط إجراءات الحصول على الخدمات البريدية والمالية المتنوعة التي تقدمها لجميع المواطنين في مختلف مناطق ومحافظات البلاد
