ذكرت وكالة الأناضول أمس الجمعة 20 كانون الأول (ديسمبر) أن المستشار الألماني أكد للاجئين السوريين أن المقيمين المندمجين بشكل جيد يمكنهم الاستمرار في الإقامة والعمل في البلاد، حتى بعد سقوط نظام الأسد.
وبحسب الوكالة قال المستشار الألماني أولاف شولتز مساء الخميس: “أي شخص مندمج بشكل جيد، ويدرس في ألمانيا، ويعمل فيها، ويتحدث الألمانية، يمكنه البقاء، حتى لو تغيرت الظروف في وطنه. أعتقد أن هذا هو ما تطلبه الإنسانية”.
وكان شولتز قد أدلى بهذه التصريحات في ختام قمة مطولة للاتحاد الأوروبي في بروكسل، حيث ناقش الزعماء الوضع في سوريا، والعلاقات الدبلوماسية المحتملة مع الحكومة الجديدة في دمشق، والنقاش الدائر حول إعادة اللاجئين السوريين في أوروبا إلى وطنهم.
وانتقد المستشار الأحزاب اليمينية الأوروبية لإطلاقها حملات متسرعة لإعادة اللاجئين السوريين إلى وطنهم بعد الإطاحة بالأسد، مؤكدًا أن الوضع السياسي في سوريا لايزال غير مؤكد.
وقال شولتز للصحفيين “إن النقاش الجاري حول عودة المواطنين السوريين الذين طلبوا اللجوء في بلادنا يبدو لي غريبًا إلى حد ما – وهذا تعبير مهذب”.
وقال “لأنه لا يمكن لأحد أن يتأكد الآن من إمكانية عودتهم. ولكن بالطبع هناك كثيرون يرغبون في العودة إذا تحسنت الأوضاع. وسوف ندعمهم ونجعل هذا ممكنًا”.
وأشار شولتز إلى أن هيئة الهجرة الألمانية علقت مؤقتًا القرارات بشأن طلبات اللجوء السورية بسبب عدم اليقين بشأن الظروف في سوريا.
وبحسب الأناضول لقد أصبحت هذه القضية موضوعًا رئيسيًّا في الحملة الانتخابية قبل الانتخابات المبكرة في ألمانيا في شباط (فبراير). وفي حين يسعى حزب الديمقراطيين المسيحيين المعارض وحزب البديل من أجل ألمانيا اليميني المتطرف إلى العودة السريعة للاجئين، فإن الديمقراطيين الاجتماعيين بزعامة شولتز وشركائهم في الائتلاف الأخضر يفضلون نهجًا أكثر تحفظًا.
