شهد مشفى المجتهد في العاصمة دمشق يوم الأربعاء 6 أيار، افتتاح عدد من الأقسام الطبية والخدمية بعد الانتهاء من أعمال صيانتها وإعادة تأهيلها، بحضور وزير الصحة السوري مصعب العلي، وذلك ضمن مساعٍ لتحسين مستوى الخدمات الصحية داخل المشفى
وشملت أعمال التأهيل قسمي الإسعاف والأمراض الهضمية، إضافة إلى سكن الأطباء، بدعم من منظمة “إنترهيلث” البريطانية، والجمعية الطبية السورية الأميركية “سامز”، إلى جانب جمعية الأمل لمكافحة السرطان “UMUT”
ويأتي هذا التطور في وقت يواجه فيه القطاع الصحي السوري تحديات متفاقمة، تتعلق بضعف البنية التحتية للمشافي ونقص التجهيزات الطبية، إلى جانب الصعوبات المرتبطة بتأمين الكوادر والمواد الأساسية اللازمة لاستمرار الخدمات الطبية
وفي تقرير سابق، تناول برنامج “الراصد الاقتصادي” على تلفزيون سوريا واقع القطاع الصحي في البلاد، مسلطًا الضوء على المشكلات التي تعاني منها المؤسسات الصحية الحكومية
وبيّن مدير منظمة “أمناء التكنوقراط”، الطبيب مهند الملك، أن عددًا من المشافي يعمل بإمكانات محدودة نتيجة تقادم الأجهزة الطبية ونقص الأدوية، فضلًا عن الانقطاعات المتكررة للكهرباء التي تؤثر على سير العمل داخل الأقسام الطبية
